From June 26th to 27th, 2019, the “7th Annual Conference on Vehicle Thermal Management Technology in China 2019”, supported by the chair unit Nanjing Aotecar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and organized by the Automotive Air Conditioning Working Committee of the China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, successfully concluded in the western suburbs of Shanghai. The conference attracted approximately 200 technical personnel, who engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges over two days on issues related to vehicle thermal management, battery pack and air conditioning thermal management systems, industrial innovation, and research and development of forward-looking technologies.
Ding Tao, the chairman of the Automotive Air Conditioning Working Committee of the China Association of Refrigeration, pointed out in his opening speech that the “China Automotive Thermal Management Technology Annual Conference” has been held for seven times and has become the most influential annual conference with the highest level in the automotive thermal management industry. In the future, the annual conference will continue to build a platform to serve the industry and enhance its international influence.
Chairman Ding also pointed out that the importance of vehicle thermal management in automobiles is constantly increasing, but it requires more collaboration between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and component companies. From the perspective of industry competition landscape and future trends, the technological threshold is constantly rising, and the elimination rate will be very high. However, this is good for the development of the entire industry. Despite facing many challenges, the solutions for vehicle thermal management are also constantly being improved.

The heat pump air conditioning system in electric vehicles significantly impacts the vehicle’s driving range during use, highlighting the importance of heat pump technology. When discussing ultra-low temperature heat pump technology, Mr. Chen highlighted several key factors affecting the performance of low-temperature heat pumps.
This technical annual meeting has received high attention and support from the industry from start to finish, and the speeches delivered by technical experts have not disappointed the enthusiastic audience. After each session of speeches, there are always many technical questions from the audience that require discussion and exchange with the experts.
